Front Lip Installation: A Bolt-On and Adhesive Checklist

A low-cost trial fit is better than assuming every vehicle variant shares mounting points.

Before unpacking and fitting

Check the part number, vehicle model, model year, body variant and all supplied fixings against the order. Photograph the condition on arrival. Confirm whether the original vehicle has been repaired or modified, since previous work can change panel gaps.

Dry-fit before final fastening

Position the lip without tightening fasteners. Check clearance, edges and alignment against the bumper. If the kit requires adhesive, use only the compatible product and surface preparation specified by its installation instructions; follow the adhesive maker’s cure guidance.

When to stop and ask

If holes do not align or a part fouls sensors, trim or ground clearance, stop instead of drilling or forcing it. Share photos and the vehicle identification details with the seller for fitment confirmation. Have a qualified installer review local road-use requirements.

Evidence note: DUKAI catalogue and company details describe the current offering; other sections are general buyer checks. This guide does not establish model-specific fitment, test results or overseas sales statistics.
