No-Cut Kit or Replacement Bumper? Plan the Shipment Before You Order

The word “body kit” can describe separate lips and skirts or a complete bumper shell. Confirm the actual pieces before comparing quotes.

Compare the bill of materials

A front lip, side skirt or rear lip supplements an existing panel; a replacement bumper substitutes a larger factory panel. Ask for a piece-by-piece list and photos of every item in the shipment. A catalogue title alone does not define what is included.

Confirm packing, not assumed freight savings

Request packed dimensions, gross weight, carton count and protection details for the exact kit. Separate small pieces are not automatically cheaper to ship: volumetric weight, fragility and destination rules all affect the quote. Obtain a carrier quotation for each option before committing.

Check fitment and the installation plan

Match vehicle model, model year and body variant. Ask whether the specific kit uses existing mounting points, supplied fasteners, adhesive or a combination. Dry-fit before final fixing, and follow the supplied instructions for that SKU; do not assume every part is drill-free.
